Have you ever dreamed of creating floral designs for your own or for a friend’s wedding? Perhaps you would like to explore the possibility of becoming a professional wedding floral designer. In this Online Boot Camp you will learn all of the basics for creating a complete wedding; how to source fresh flowers, care & handling, how to make wedding flowers like a bridal bouquet, bridesmaid’s bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, floral crown, a fresh garland, and reception flowers.
The wedding florist course begins with a review of flower care and handling and working with a flower knife. You will learn about floral care products, hydration and preparation of flowers, and special conditioning requirements. You will learn how to cut flowers in a manner that is best both for the flowers and your body.
Then you will move on to designing a contemporary hand-tied bridal bouquet. This is the most popular bouquet for today’s brides and brides’ maids. Although challenging, the how-to video instruction will lead you step-by-step in the creation of a beautiful bouquet. Next is designing body flowers. You will create a boutonniere, a wrist corsage, a floral ring, and a fabulous floral crown. Finally, you will learn how to create a fresh foliage garland and a compote floral centerpiece, perfect for wedding decor. All of the designs and styles are up-to-date, on-trend, and in demand by brides.
In each lesson, there are detailed, how-to videos, written instructions, shopping lists, and online quizzes designed to help with comprehension. This is a hands-on wedding florist course workshop. You will be creating two designs, photographing, and submitting the photos to our instructors for constructive critique and valuation. Yes, this workshop is fully supported.
