Hog Ringer Individual Pack
In the old days of pig farming, when pigs were still raised out of doors and in pastures, the hog ringer tool was used to place a ring in the nose of the hog. This was not for the personal adornment of the hog, but to keep them from rooting up the soil.
As floral designers we use the hog ringer tools to group and bind grasses, vines, sticks and willow together. The copper ring is also decorative.
At Floral Design Institute we teach students how to use all design tools and supplies in the Basic Floral Design course.
