Basic Floral Design Certification Challenge
This challenge course is designed for the experienced floral designer who desires to attain the Floral Design Institute Certified Floral Designer status without completing the Basic Floral Design Program. It is required that you have a minimum of 500 hours of floral design work experience or that you have completed basic floral arrangement training through another school program. To help you with the successful completion of this basic flower arrangement designs course we have included two training segments directly from the basic course: one on the elements and principles of floral design and one on pricing. The challenge consists of a written exam and the creation of three designs; a bud vase, an arrangement, and a corsage. You will photograph your designs and submit them to your instructors for critique and evaluation.
Upon successful completion of this challenge, you will receive a Floral Design Institute Certificate. You may then move on to the completion of our Advanced Floral Design Course and the attainment of the coveted Floral Design Institute Certified Floral Designer status.
