Nancy Higgins
FDI Instructor Emeritus
Nancy has been part of the Floral Design Institute team for over 35 years. "It has been my honor and pleasure to continually bring the joy of floral design to so many students over the years" Nancy is an instructor of the certification programs Basic Floral Design and Advanced Floral Design.
A native Oregonian and a graduate of Marylhurst University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Nancy has spent most of her adult life working in the floral business and has represented and designed for numerous floral supply companies such as Western Pulp, Knud Nielsen, Floral Design Syndicate, and Design Master Paints as well as many others in wholesale floral design shows created for the floral trade.
Nancy is also an interior designer and an accomplished fine artist. "As an interior designer and a floral consultant for weddings and special events, I continue to discover new beautiful ways of doing what I love."
