The professional Wedding Floral Specialist certificate course is an intensive 120 hour program designed to provide focused training in wedding and event floral design. The training will explore the various histories and traditions of the wedding ceremony and the romantic language of flowers. You will learn to design flowers for all types of ceremonies from traditional to contemporary and from simple to elaborate. You will learn to design bridal bouquets in many forms and styles, body flowers, large bouquets, decorations for the ceremony and the reception, garlands, candelabras, fabulous party décor and so much more. The final days of the program will be filled with fun, excitement, a bit of drama and a taste of the real world. To graduate from this program, you will complete a full wedding and present it for instructor critique. Yes, you will do a full wedding from start to finish: planning, story board, pricing, ordering, receiving, preparing, designing and displaying. Wow!
